A charming getaway in the suburbs of Colombo set amidst lush tropical foliage on the shore of the famed Bolgoda Lake, the largest fresh water Lake in Sri Lanka.

Serenity Lake Front Villa is located within 18kms from the heart of the capital Colombo and 10kms (30 minutes) from the city limit, 70kms (1h30min) from Colombo International Airport, 7kms (20 minutes) from Ratmalana Airport (domestic hub), 20 minutes from the largest public beach in Colombo (Mount Lavinia), and 8kms by boat to the estuary where the Bolgoda Lake water meets the Majestic Indian Ocean.

Nature, bird watching, water sports, snorkeling, deep sea diving & fishing enthusiasts will be inspired by the rich biodiversity of the location and the array of activities available. We offer serenity, peace and tranquility to our guests as an alternative to the hustle & bustle of Colombo, and yet we are close enough to enjoy what Colombo has to offer.

The Villa consists of 9 Rooms, 3 living/dining areas, kitchens, an extensive lawn and an intimate swimming pool, In-house games (volleyball, badminton, softball cricket on the lawn, darts, carom, board games and card), and ample parking space.

In-house customized catering and outsourced catering available.

Serenity Lake Front Villa is a Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) approved bungalow.

  • Touring Colombo, shopping and visiting historical and cultural sites in Colombo and suburbs such as the National Museum, gem & jewelry museum, independence square, ancient temples and the old Colombo city including the Dutch Hospital converted into a modern shopping mall
  • Visit Mount Lavinia Hotel – 18th century British colonial Governor’s Mansion converted into a Hotel (15 minutes from our Villa)
  • Visit Mount Lavinia Beach – The Largest Public Beach in Colombo
  • Enjoy the dynamic night life in Colombo city and dining out at a number of fine dining placing beach front and roadside restaurants
  • We can recommend reliable vehicle hire companies or taxi services
  • We can recommend vehicle hire and tour guides to travel around Sri Lanka

Our Facilities

Serenity Lake Front Villa sits on an acre of land with a well-manicured lawn facing the exquisite Bolgoda Lake. It is situated on the widest part of the lake.

A cook is available and we offer set menus or a la carte with Sri Lankan, eastern and western choices.
